I am half-Swedish, half-Japanese, and I grew up in Sweden. At an early age, I became restless and moved to London, where I studied theatre and history. During my time in London, I worked as an actress and also as a tour guide. The high cost of living and hectic lifestyle in London made me move to Berlin. My first visit was only supposed to be a fun weekend with my friends, but I fell in love with the city and kept coming back.
In the end, I decided to move because I was able to arrange a job as a tour guide. I have now lived here since 2007 and plan to stay. Germany’s history is incredibly fascinating and important to remember. It was easy for me to adapt the experience I had from the UK. This is a job where you’re constantly evolving and learning. It’s a privilege for me to share my knowledge with the visitors of this incredible city.
