Building off of that, you could take a Third Reich tour in which will take you to sites relevant to the Nazi time period in Berlin, the place where Hitler’s regime began in 1933 and ended in 1945. While it might be hard to imagine today, an experienced guide can show you tell-tale signs of heavy fighting during the Battle of Berlin in April 1945.

If you want to delve more into the Nazi time period, your third day could include a day trip to the museum and memorial site of Sachsenhausen, one of the first concentration camps ever built just north of Berlin.
