Holger Linde-Margalit
Hello, my name is Holger and I would love to be your guide in Berlin. I’m a true West Berliner. Born in 1969, I experienced divided Berlin in the 80s, as well as the fall of the Wall first-hand and as an eyewitness.
Ever since my school days, I have loved sharing the secrets of my home city with all the new friends I meet on my tours. I introduce you to Berlin's many classics, but also delve with you into the diverse and fascinating streets of Berlin off the beaten track. My great passion: food tours! In my tours, I found the perfect way to integrate both: history & food. The culinary history of Berlin is colorful and rich – and goes far beyond the famous Currywurst. Let me show you the culinary hotspots! I’m running a company called “The Taste of Berlin”, organizing culinary team-building events for corporate groups. My background is the wide world of marketing and advertising.
Another focus of mine is LGBTQ+ tours and the Roaring 1920s. Berlin has been the birthplace of a new and modern identity – as early as the late 19th century. Let’s see how much truth there is in the famous movie & musical Cabaret!
You’ll find my guiding style very passionate, energetic, and always full of my personal view of my hometown. Hope to see you soon in Berlin!
