Hello! My name is Carlos.

I was born in Venezuela, but I spent a significant part of my teenage years living across various cities in Spain. Eventually, in 2018, I found myself in Berlin, and I am not planning on leaving this wonderful place!

My background is quite multifaceted and I cannot choose where to settle yet. My studies in Linguistics and Translation went hand in hand with my work as an assistant brewer back in Spain. Around the same time, I also began exploring the enchanting labyrinth of German literature. In a sense, I feel I was destined to end up here as what started as hobbies, turned into a full profession in 2018, when I got to give my first Beer Tour!

One major part of my life in Berlin revolved around its natural forests and waters; since 2020 I own a Kayak and explore its rivers and lakes. Lately I got my sailing license; hopefully one day I will sail around the Baltic Sea in search of traces of the Hanseatic League.

Today, I've expanded my range of guided tours and returned to student life, now focusing on International Commerce and Macroeconomics. For my internship, I developed a 5-day tour that perfectly aligns with the contents of "Historia del Mundo Contemporáneo", which is a course given in the second-to-last year of High school in Spain. Even after all this time, I still get genuinely excited by the places we visit together—sometimes you'll catch me looking around just like a tourist myself, especially when we pass by birds, blossomed trees and new street art.
