My name is Anja and I was born near Magdeburg, former GDR. I have been living in Berlin since 2014. I studied prehistory and anthropology at the University of Hamburg.
I have been working as a museum guide since 2005 for various museums on Lake Constance, in North Rhine-Westphalia and in Lower Saxony. In doing so, I mostly dealt with the ancient Romans and Germanic tribes.
In 2014, I made Berlin my adopted home and have been working as a city guide ever since.
I currently work for Original Berlin Walks, Insider Tours and the Museum in Berlin-Karlshorst. For me, Berlin is one of the most wonderful cities in the world. I love to show my guests the past of this fascinating and breathtaking city. Most often I show visitors the Berlin highlights, Berlin under National Socialism or Berlin during the Cold War.
